AUDITION GUIDELINES

For VibeNova Voices

• Mission: Through training in works of different genres, we will improve the team‘s skills of vocal performance. We will strive to build an outstanding youth vocal group in the Boston area, improve the member' love and skills for music, and help them go further and higher in pursuit of music and art. We will also help the team members to participate in various high-level performances, music competitions and improve their precious lifetime music appreciation and performance experience.

VibeNova Admission Requirements

• Age Requirement: Group A: 7-12, Group B: 12-18
• Music Requirements: 

1. Possess good pitch and rhythm sensitivity
2. Have the ability to read music
3. Guarantee rehearsal time on Saturday afternoon
4. If you have studied music or instrumental performance for more than one year or have won awards, please fill in the registration form

• Rehearsal Schedule:  TBD
• Rehearsal Works: songs of different genres to be announced 
• Term Period: 10 weeks per term from April 26th, 2025, 2 hours every meeting
• Tuition: $900 per term.
• Music Director: Dr. Juju Zhu, vocalist, pianist and conductor. 
• Artistic Advisor: Prof. Ana Guigui, vocal professor at Berklee College of Music

Audition Arrangement

• Video Pre-audition Deadline: April 18th, 2025, online submission
• In-person Audition: Lexington, notified by email/phone after registration
• Audition Requirements: Audition is free of charge and requires a video link of your performance of a song at your own choice, music should be 2-5 minutes
